As the quarantine
restrictions relaxed from “Enhanced Community Quarantine” (ECQ) mode, to mECQ (ModifiedEnhanced Community Quarantine), GCQ (General Community Quarantine), and even to
releasing certain cities and municipalities from any form of quarantine, the Filipino,
once again, showed their love of malls and all forms of freedom.
Much to the
chagrin of Filipino Nurses and regular folk who prefer not to see a wider
spread of COVID-19, there was a good number who rushed to public establishments,
risking life, lungs, and blood vessels, as they displayed how badly they missed
the malls.
In any case,
for those of us who prefer not to catch the virus, please stay sane, obedient,
and at home, and let’s keep helping in flattening the curve through that!
And don’t
forget constant washing of hands, as well as social distancing and wearing of a
surgical-grade face mask whenever you’re out. Stay happy, healthy, and
COVID-Free!
We resume honoring
our Filipino nurses and bringing other news regarding the valiant Filipino
nurse tomorrow.

*We noticed a discrepancy in the numbers; last week, it was stated that there were 35 healthcare worker deaths due to COVID-19, but this week, the numbers state that there were only 31 casualties.
Hopefully, the DOH will be able to correct these numbers in the next data drops.
