The IVT (Intravenous Therapy) Training was one of the many burdens Filipino Nurses faced upon becoming a newly registered nurse. Not only the training costs a bit unreasonable, it also entails memorizing tons of procedural steps and rationales.
Yearning to be employed or at least gain a hospital experience, many nurses had no choice but to unnecessarily undergo the said training as hospitals require IVTT certificates or IDs.
Fortunately, new developments seem to be in favor of nurses as the Board of Nursing nullifies the training from now on.
